Trouble started when Mudavadi arrived at the home earlier in the day but was interrupted by a section of youths who chanted ODM at him prompting his allies to hit back with chants of UDF.
Mudavadi addressed the funeral but left early for another function moments before Raila hovered over with a chopper as pro-ODM youths welcomed him with party friendly slogans.
But it was politicians who upped the tempo and attacked each other turning the funeral into a shouting match.

This did not go well with ODM supporters when a young man rushed and grabbed a microphone from the MP and a stampede followed as youths battled each other.
Budalangi MP Ababu Namwamba too had a difficult time as he attempted to address mourners amid shouts from pro-Mudavadi shouts.
